        in different areas such as history (Coleborne & Bliss, 2011), science (Dewi, Kannapiran & Wibowo, (2018),
        mathematics (Dinçer & Yılmaz, 2019), social studies (Ünlü & Yang, 2020), geography (Ryan and Aasetre,
        2020).
             It is thought that digital storytelling activities can be done to ensure active participation of students
        in the lesson, to increase their motivation, to develop higher level skills such as analytical, creative and
        critical thinking, and to establish communication and cooperation especially in the distance learning pro-
        cess experienced all over the world and in our country.

             Result
             It is thought that students’ attitudes towards writing, academic skills, and most importantly, higher
        level thinking skills will be improved by performing different and original writing activities in addition to
        the writing studies carried out in a traditional form. We come across digital stories in order to make re-
        markable and creative writing activities through technology.
             It is thought that digital storytelling will be interesting for students and will provide an environment
        that will make them active learners.
