Parents stated that although distance education does not replace face-to-face education in gene-
ral, it is compulsory for health and they realized the risks of being in front of the screen for a long time
and expressed their reservations. The students stated that they improved themselves in the use of WEB
2.0. tools and technology, but they were not very happy about staying away from their friends, and they
especially missed their friends at BİLSEM and face-to-face experimental studies. Teachers stated that
they are better equipped to use WEB 2.0. tools and that distance education cannot replace face-to-face
education in terms of meeting psychological needs.
